Day 30 - Whatever tickles your fancy
One day, I was feeling lazy and lethargic. Rather than sitting on my ass idling the hours way, I decided to go on the internet and do something a lifeless person was expected to do- randomly browsing through other people's blogs. Interesting enough, I found something on Nadiah's blog which caught my attention! :D
So here it goes - The 30 Day Project. (I make it sound so formal and relatively important The 30 Day Project when indeed it's NOT). On one condition though: I will not be continuing this for consecutively 30 days due to my around the clock studying and tuitioning and dilly-dallies *blah blah* But I will try my very best to complete each and every part even if it means taking me AGES to do it. No harm in trying. :) So let's kick off with a topic that I'm most familiar with -

Day 1 - Your Favourite Song
Some people would say their highschool sweetheart was their first love. Some would say that the boy with the cute grin on the big silver screen was their first love. All the clichés. As for me, music was my first true love. Maybe I sound a lilttle cheesy saying that but it's a fact. Music from the 80s, 90s even dating back to the late 60s, contemporary music, Jazz music, Indie, Rock and Soul - I'm into all of them. It's no wonder that my iPod is most aptly considered as one of my main necessities in life, YES I will go crazy and emotionally unstable if I were to live through a day without my precious, purple-coated, Apple iPod. It's practially like my baby. Okay, now I'm just sounding like a pathetic lunatic.
Back to the topic. I can't say I have an all time favourite song because that won't do me justice. I have WAY TOO MANY favourite songs to choose from. But still, I have no other option but to have a few picks of my own or else the whole thing would be meaningless from the beginning. So, I've zeroed in to 2 songs. 2 songs that are in the current music wave and are my ultimate favourite.
Vanilla Twilight by Owl City
This song makes me choked up at times. The lyrics are absolutely beautiful and meaningful in every way. The live performance by Adam Young (which you can find on YouTube) rendered me SPEECHLESS. Spectacular and immaculate.
Turn It Off by Paramore
Anything by Paramore just automatically goes to my reshuffle playlist. They're the best! This is my favourite song from their current album.
Done and over with. That was fun.
And I suggest you do the same too! :D
