Day 4 - Your Favourite Book

I simply love to devour books. I'm especially a sucker for romance.

The first book that I picked up as a kid was Enid Blyton's. Then as I merge into a young adolescent, I read Archie Comics as a past time. I don't know if you'd consider that as a novel as much as it is a comic book but Archie Comics were at its peak during my time. Every other kid in my class were reading the Archie Comics and occasionally we would swap comic books. If you ask me, I personally think that Archie Comics are deemed as a rite of passage for every normal kid. Another phase: the Harry Potter series. Whoever who's not familiar with the name JK Rowling should just give up on life RIGHT now. I kid you not.

Now, I don't have as much time to read as I used to. I have to juggle my school work with classes so whenever I'm not too fatigued and I get some free time to spare, I would read a little before I go straight to bed. One thing you'll always find lying next to my pillow is my novel, right next to my phone. :)

My current favourite book is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. This one's a page turner, I tell you. I took merely 2 days to finished the book. Even after that, the story kept repeating itself in my head and I couldn't stop thinking about it. The story's packed with so much adventure and cliffhangers and as usual, a love triangle is potrayed betwen the characters. The story didn't quite grabbed me at the end though. I felt like I wanted more out of it, y'know. The second book was not bad as well. If you're someone who likes reading about menacing creatures, wild mutts, futuristic human beings, rivalries and bloodbaths then I reckon you get The Hunger Games. It's definitely worth a read. :)
